Ask Dubai's Population
Test public message framing, survey quality, search journeys, product A/B tests, and many more on a synthetic population in minutes.

/// [Methodology]
×+×How every persona is built. Census tables, microdata or other input sources are the building blocks for a synthetic population, and every persona is drawn from it.
01
Input data provides the foundation
Input data usually describes people in single traits: by age, by income, by digital confidence. Each count is right on its own, but they don't describe how the pieces add up to a real person.
02
Data pieces fit together into a coherent population
Using our internal models, the separate traits are fit together into a single consistent population. The richer the data, the more accurate and nuanced the population will be.
03
Personas emerge one by one
People are drawn from that population one at a time based on how likely they are to appear in the population. Each becomes a complete persona with a name, age, income, digital confidence, etc...
/// [Simulations]
×+×1 population, N simulations. Test public message framing, survey quality, search journeys, product A/B tests, and more on the same synthetic residents.
/// [Population]
×+×Create a population from the available data
Pick the number of personas and filter by sex, nationality, age and others. Every population mirrors its input data at any size and is saved for later runs.

×+×Setup the conditions of the simulation
For example, the survey simulation requires personas to answer a series of questions, each on its own answer scale. One draft becomes a full field study in a couple of minutes.

×+×Get custom reports for each simulation
Every run lands on a custom dashboard built for its simulation conditions. The population driving the results stays one tab away.
